 Dental trauma

Dental trauma related to a missing tooth is a dental emergency! If your permanent tooth has fallen out of your mouth due to trauma, your doctor suggests that you gently clean the root if it is still intact and try to replace it into the properly oriented socket as soon as possible. If you can replace your tooth within 30 minutes, research shows your odds of keeping your original tooth are much higher! Other tips include preserving teeth in saliva (like in cheeks) or milk. You should go to the dentist within 2 hours for timely examination and treatment.

Dental trauma related to broken teeth is a dental emergency. If you are having difficulty, please come to the German Dental Clinic, as soon as possible. We will try to schedule it for you.

 Tooth abscess

A tooth abscess is a dental emergency and should be treated immediately. The swelling can spread and become a dangerous situation if not treated properly.

 Bleeding gums

If you have good oral hygiene habits but your gums suddenly start bleeding, this is a dental emergency. See your dentist immediately to have your health checked. Bleeding gums can be a symptom that your health is in serious trouble.

 Procedure

30 minutes or maybe longer.

To properly evaluate the problem, the doctor will need to take an X-ray of the damaged area and with a 15 to 30 minute examination to find the problem. During those 30 minutes, the doctor will evaluate your dental situation and provide a treatment plan to handle the dental problems you are experiencing.
